Privacy & Cookies

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

Wade Books Privacy Policy

Wade Books is a little network of a few mini-sites about my works and others things I like. There's a main Blog based on WordPress, which needs to use some technical cookies just to keep track of what's going on in the page and customize the experience of the users. Here you can read Wordpress privacy policy.

After considering the various options I decided to implement Google analytics on some pages. The only purpose of this is to get an idea of how people interact with my website and have a reliable visitor counter. All the information gathered are anonymous and I won't use them for anything else other than working for a more efficient website. Here's Google privacy policy.

Some pages also might show some third party ads, which make use of cookies. If that bothers you you can use an ad-blocker, but keep in mind that those ads help me with the hosting costs. I'll make sure not to use any malware or invasive pop-ups.

You'll also find some social networks sharing buttons, so please note that they might install tracking cookies on your device. If you want to know what happens just go to the social network they point to and read their privacy policy.

If you decide to subscribe to my updates, you will receive an email when there's something new going on. You can unsubscribe whenever you want. I will never use your email address for anything else than those updates nor will I ever share it with other people.

Wade Books is safe and you are welcome to come visit whenever you want.
